Product Description

Loader half shaft

The loader half-shaft is a core transmission component of the drive axle, belonging to the fully floating load-bearing drive shaft category. The product is forged from high-strength alloy steel, undergoing tempering heat treatment and high-frequency spline quenching, resulting in high overall toughness, strong torsional resistance, and resistance to breakage and deformation. The main function of the half-shaft is to transmit power from the differential to the wheel-side reducer, driving the wheels to rotate, while simultaneously bearing the vehicle’s heavy loads, bumps, and torsional impacts. The product features high precision, good sealing, wear resistance, and fatigue resistance, making it suitable for harsh, heavy-duty operations on construction sites. It is easy to assemble and disassemble, has a long service life, and is the most frequently replaced and most prone-to-wear transmission component in loaders.

Application Scenarios

  • Mining and Quarrying: Loading ore and hard stone under high-impact, high-torque conditions.
  • Earthwork and Infrastructure: Excavation, backfilling, and bulldozing operations, involving frequent starts, turns, and bumpy driving.
  • Coal Yards, Material Yards, and Ports: Long-term continuous heavy-load transportation under stable and sustained loads.
  • Municipal Engineering: Cleaning construction waste and crushing slag, dealing with uneven road surfaces and high torsional loads.
  • Muddy and water-filled construction sites: Muddy, wet and dusty environments require high strength, rust resistance and fatigue resistance for the half shaft.
